What To Expect For Your Children During the Gathering
We want your child’s experience to be fun! We will provide learning experiences that are reinforced through videos, songs, play-time and other activities.

Our youngest kids are nurtured and introduced to God's love in classes at The Ridge thru our Nursery/Toddler program. These folks love, hold, feed, play with, comfort, and begin teaching our kids about God thru songs and Bible stories.

Our Preschoolers/Kindergarten kids get to start learning about God, Jesus, the saving love God offers, and the Biblical truths of Christian living in fun and active classes. Our Preschool/Kindergarten team all love being with our kids and work hard during the week in preparing lessons and activities for our weekend services. The songs and laughter you hear in the hall, the bible verses, activity sheets, and crafts they carry out of the classes, and the kids desire for Jesus to be their forever friend is evidence that our teachers and helpers are making God real and real fun for our young kids.

Our 1st thru 4th grade students participate in a variety of classes including bible study, learning centers, praise music, and large group/small group lesson presentations. We throw in some puppets and skits from time to time also. We study and coordinate our curriculum so our students receive Biblical teaching in fun and effective methods. Our 1st thru 4th grade team works hard to give the kids opportunities to know and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and turn Bible verses and Biblical truths into wisdom they use to guide their lives every day.

Our 5th/6th grade students take an active role in more in depth Biblical teaching and many of them start to serve in ministry areas. Our 5th/6th grade students have the message of Salvation and Lordship of Jesus Christ presented to them very plainly. Godly characteristics are taught and encouraged to model on a daily basis and the Fruits of the Spirit evident in their daily lives. Our 5th/6th grade team do a phenomenal job of putting Biblical content into formats that the kids love and relate to.

Check-In/Security
While your child's education is very important to us so is their safety. You can breath easy while you enjoy your own worship experience that your child is safe and secure in their own class. When you register your child a tag will be printed for them and you. This tag will include your child’s name, security code and special instructions. Please apply it to their back and keep your copy in a safe place for when you pick up your child. If you are needed at your child’s room, their tag number will be flashed on the big screen during service. The same person that checked in your child must be present to pick up your child. A child will not be released to a parent without presentation of the corresponding tag. If you have any questions or concerns or need any help be sure to ask one of the security workers at registration.

Snacks
Snacks are provided for the children. They are given Cheerios or goldfish crackers and water or juices. If your child has any allergies, please inform the leader when you check in your child.

Healthy Kids
In order to protect all children, we request that you not place your child in our care if they show signs of illness, such as fever, rash, persistent cough, or diarrhea.
